• Sessions
Sessions are the number of classes (of a subject) a student is purchasing.

For example:
Suzie runs a yoga institute, and her students pay for 4 sessions. She would select "4" in the sessions drop-down menu while creating an invoice.

Additionally, Suzie gets an option to keep the student enrolled to the yoga class even after the 4 sessions are exhausted. If she chooses yes, i.e. to keep the student enrolled, the additional sessions (over the 4 sessions) then get counted as unbilled sessions until a new invoice is raised.

  • Validity
Limit the date range when students can complete the sessions

For example:
Suzie runs a yoga institute, and her students pay for a month. She would select the month end as the valid till date.

Additionally, Suzie gets an option to keep the student enrolled to the yoga class even after the validity is exhausted. If she chooses yes, i.e. to keep the student enrolled, the additional sessions (after 31-Aug-2019, in the example screenshot above) would then get counted as unbilled sessions until a new invoice is raised.

  • Validity and Session can go hand in hand as well.

For Example:
Suzies students pay for 4 sessions, which are valid for a month. If the student attends 3 sessions in the period of one month, the remaining one is considered exhausted.
